The Town Clerk issues marriage licenses. The cost for a license is $80, plus $10 if you will need a certified copy of your license after the wedding. Please download the application below and either email it to the clerk or drop it in the drop box, so that we may prepare the license ahead of time. Please fill it out completely and spell out all names (do not use initials). The license must be picked up in person.

If you are a Vermont resident, the license must be obtained in the town where one party resides. If you are not Vermont residents, you may obtain your license from any Vermont Town Clerk. There is no waiting period, and the license is valid for 60 days.
