MOWING & TRIM WORK

                                             AT THE MARTIN COVERED BRIDGE

                                                                  MARSHFIELD

 

                                                    July 15, 2025 – October 31, 2026

                                             Work to be performed May thru October

 

1.          Mow the areas around the bridge, the parking area, the stone circle, and the trails.

 

2.          Trim around the trees, shrubs, and fences, and the stones at the stone circle.

 

3.          Keep the grass to a maximum height of three inches.

 

4.          Access to the trails and stone circle is from the railroad bed.

 

A contract will be drawn based on the bids received.  The bids shall be on a per-mowing basis. The contract will be for the remainder of this season and the 2026 season with the second year contingent upon a performance review by the Selectmen.

Marshfield residents will be given preference.

Bids must be received by Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.

For a more complete description of the work to be done, bidders should attend a site visit on Thursday, July 10^th at 4:00 p.m.

Please submit three (3) references with your proposal, and indicate whether or not you have workers’ compensation and liability insurance.

The Town of Marshfield reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
