- FEMA 1 (Onion River Road & Sass Ave): 

Onion River Road subsurface work is complete - drilling done and piles set are set/tested. The concrete abutments/wingwalls will be formed this week into next week. I'd expect concrete on-site by end of next week or the following. The beams are being cast (JP Carrara in Middlebury) starting end of next week. Detour to Onion River Road remains in-place via Nasmith Brook Road and the temporary road through the school/campground. Route 2 lane closures will be intermittent. 

 

Sass Ave. Route 2 lane closure will remain in-place and be on-going for the next several months. Alternating lights and/or flaggers are maintaining traffic. Drilling for foundation work will continue, but should be done by end of next week. 

 

- FEMA 2 (Cassady Road). No change since the last update, work will begin in a few weeks - only limited impacts to Route 2.

 

- FEMA 3 (Holt Road, Pigeon Pond Road, Laird Pond Road, Maple Hill Road): No change from last week, work not anticipated until May or June. 

 

- FEMA 4 (Thompson Road): No change from last week. Work not anticipated for several months.
